Beautiful Lake Koronis, with its three islands, is located in southwestern Stearns County in central Minnesota:
80 miles northwest of Minneapolis on Highway 23 or 55, or 20 miles west of I-94 on Highway 23. It is part of the North Fork Crow River Watershed District; located down river from Rice Lake. The Koronis Lake Association has worked for 30+ years to preserve and protect the waters of the lake. Contact the association at PO Box 333, Paynesville, MN 56362.

Fishing for walleyes, sunfish, bass, etc. on Lake Koronis is fine all year around. The lake is 132 feet deep at the maximum and has 3,014 acres of surface water. |
