Street work continues...
A car speeds by on Highway 23 as construction crews continue
to work on Washburne Avenue, just south of downtown,
as part of the city's 2006 Street Improvement Project.
Construction during the 2006 Street Improvement Project
is scheduled to continue with deep utility work on South Street
and Washburne Avenue during the week of May 1-5. Koronis Avenue
(from Highway 23 to Mill Street) and Pomeroy Avenue
(from Highway 23 to Mill Street), and the south end
of Central Avenue are scheduled for work this summer.
