Two players were selected All Conference this season. They are seniors Jen Lindquist and Milissa Hopfer. Lindquist led the team in hitting, with a batting average of .444, 14 RBI’s, two doubles, four triples, 10 walks, and an 11 game hitting streak.
Hopfer was also a leader on the team, batting .309, with 14 RBIs, one home run, three triples, one double, and a seven-game hitting streak. Congrat-ulations to both of them!
Other team leaders were Trish Hemmesch with seven stolen bases, Alisha Block with 77 put outs, and Carrie Hemmesch with 40 assists.
Awards were also given out that were voted on by the team. The most valuable player award was given to Lindquist. Jen Roberg won the most enthusiastic player award. Most effort was awarded to Milissa Hopfer, and most improved was Alisha Block.
The Bulldogs are looking to a successful season next year, especially since the team was fairly young this season.
