Melrose
On Thursday, April 9, the Bulldogs hosted their first home game of the season. Even though the weather was beautiful, Paynesville could not pull off the win. They lost to Melrose 15-2 in five innings.
The Bulldog’s lone hit of the afternoon came from Jen Lindquist. Lindquist’s hit scored Nikki Hemmesch and Milissa Hopfer, both of whom had walked earlier in the fourth inning.
