Paynesville is among 16 eighth-grade boys teams and 14 girls teams competing for the region five championship on Saturday.
Paynesville is also scheduled to host the following region five championships: ninth grade on April 5, seventh grade on April 12, sixth grade on April 19, and fifth grade on May 3.
The public is invited to attend all regional tournaments. Games begin in the morning and continue through the afternoon.
