Fenske wrestled in two duals, winning both of his bouts by fall. Against Harvard, Fenske broke open a 7-7 tie by pinning Kevin Kurtz 2:08 into the match. After taking a breather against undermanned Boston College, Fenske returned against Drexel and notched another first-period pin.
Currently the top-ranked 150-pounder in the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association, Fenske’s career record now stands at 112-46, leaving him just three wins shy of Dave Warnick’s Army record of 115 wins, set between 1989-93. Fenske also has nine pins this season, three shy of his career high set last season, and his 30 career falls ranks third-all time, just three behind Mark Palzer, who wrestled at West Point from 1978-82.
Fenske is the son of Pat and Dallas Fenske, Paynesville.
