On Thursday, Dec. 11, the Bulldogs traveled to Melrose for a triangular with Melrose and Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City (ACGC). The night started with Paynesville wrestling ACGC. The Bulldog team went undefeated, beating Atwater 57-0, with seven pins. Brad Schultz, Chris Rohe, and Shawn Fleischhacker all claimed their first varsity win of the year.
Paynesville's next match of the night was Melrose. The Bulldogs beat them pretty easily with the final score of 47-10. Chris Sogge and Steve Flint, both sophomores, came up from the junior varsity and pinned both of their varsity opponents.
