New agency manager at Community Insurance

Don Jensen has been named agency manager for Community Insurance effective June 9. He will be replacing Brian Klingman who has been the manager for three and a half years. Klingman has assumed the operations manager/computer technician position at their Fargo corporate headquarters.

Jensen has been in the insurance business since 1964 with 30 years of bank agency experience. The majority of this was with First Bank Systems as an agency manager. Following the purchase of the First Bank System agencies by Reidman Insurance of Rochester, N.Y., Jensen was named branch manager for Reidman Insurance in Albert Lea where he has resided 24 years.

Jensen is a certified insurance counselor, a certification earned through the National Certified Insurance Counselor Education Institute. He brings with him expertise in all lines of insurance, specializing in commercial coverage. His knowledge, professionalism and customer satisfaction has earned him state and regional advisory board and committee positions along with numerous company awards. He is a member of state and national agent’s associations, the education committee for the state agent’s association, and serves on several insurance company advisory councils.

Jensen has been active in his community through the American Red Cross as disaster chairperson and training instructor. He is an active member of his church, the United Way, Chamber of Commerce, Southside Business Association and fraternal organizations.
