In the first half, the Bulldogs managed to hold the Huskies to a 28-6 lead over Paynesville. Paynesville scored on a two-yard rush by Jeff Voss, after his long run of 66 yards to the two-yard line. Late in the second quarter, the Bulldogs had a second chance to score, but failed to reach the end zone from the five-yard line.
The second half, Albany kept dominating the game, scoring 32 more points to end the game 60-6.
Paynesville’s running back Jeff Voss had to sit out some of the game as he was suffering from a sore neck in the second half. Hopefully, he will be back for Friday’s game.
