Punt, pass and kick results

Area youngsters ages 8 to 15 put their football skills to the test Tuesday night at the Annual Gatorade Punt, Pass and Kick contest at the Paynesville High School. About 87 young Paynesville area athletes took turns to see who could throw the ball the farthest, kick the football the farthest and punt the ball the farthest and most accurate. The total distance, minus how far off the line they were, was tabulated for their scores.

The youth were divided into age groups. Ribbons were handed out to the top three in each age group. The first place finishers advance to the sectional competition in Hutchinson on Saturday, Oct. 19.
