The team, as well as their coaches was very pleased, considering the weather was hot and windy.
Freshman Erin Aagesen led the girls, taking fifth place. Senior captain Amanda Lieser was the next Bulldog across the line, in ninth place. Both girls received ribbons.
Sophomore Camille Flanders ran a great race and placed 16th. She just missed a ribbon. The next two runners, running close together, were senior captain Emily Glenz and freshman Carin Frenchick. They placed 20th and 21st, respectively.
Another freshman, Tiffany Rausch, finished in 27th, and sophomore Amber Michaelis came in 42nd.
The Bulldogs ran very well as a team. They stayed with each other and pushed each other ahead against the wind, according to coach Darrel Carstens.
