This year the team will be performing to the theme of “Late Night with Little Crow,” which centers around the Little Crow TV talk show with host Mike Schroeder. Visiting the set in the theater are celebrities from sports, movies and TV. The top 10 list is read and Mike’s mother makes her appearance, proud of her brilliant son. Commercials, cameras, interviews and canned hams round out the activity from the studio.
Little Crow was formed in 1979. The original membership of 15-plus has grown to more than 100 skiers, ages 6 to 70. Many of the Little Crow skiers have gone to professional skiing: Water Ski Shows, Inc., Tommy Bartlett, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Marine World, Holiday Park Ski Show/Germany, Sea World, and Cypress Gardens.
The Little Crow Ski Team is the undefeated Minnesota State Champion winning the state title in 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, and 1996, and the 1995 and 1996 Mid-States Championship. In national competition they came in seventh in 1993, took first place as the National Show Ski champions in 1994, third place in 1995 and fourth place in 1996.
