Fenske, a 21-year-old senior at the University of South Dakota, won the men's four-mile race with a time of 20:29, nearly three minutes ahead of the second-place finisher. This is the second consecutive year that Fenske was the overall winner.
Lang, a 21-year-old who will also attend USD this fall, took first in the female four-mile race with a time of 25:34.
Aagesen, a student at PAHS, was the top runner in her age bracket in the eight-mile race with a time of 1:00:18.
Diane Hoyme of Paynesville took third place in her age bracket in the eight-mile run with a time of 72:53.
Other area runners in the eight-mile run were Zachary Spates and Adam Utsch. Area runners in the four-mile race included Kimberly Roering, Kelli Fenske, Melissa Jones, and Clayton Lang.
