The Bulldogs beat Kimball 8-2 on Monday, April 28, in Kimball.

The Bulldogs lost to LPGE 12-9 on Tuesday, April 29, in Long Prairie.

The leading hitter for the Bulldogs was Josh Williams, who went 2-4 with four RBIs.

The Bulldogs defeated St. Cloud Cathedral 6-1, on Thursday in Paynesville.

Jason Schlecht pitched for the Bulldogs, allowing one run and one hit in seven innings.

Mike Stalboerger led the Bulldogs in hitting, driving in two RBIs.

This victory made the Bulldogs 6-3 overall, and 3-3 in the conference.

Paynesville Tournament
The Bulldogs defeated Eagle Valley 8-0, in the first round of the Paynesville tourney on Saturday.

Mike Stalboerger pitched for the Bulldogs, shutting the Rebels down and holding them to two hits in seven innings. Stalboerger also struck out 10 batters.

Josh Williams led the Bulldogs in hitting, going 2-4 with one RBI. Jeremy Glenz also had two RBIs for Paynesville.

Braham also defeated Eagle Valley to meet Paynesville in the championship.

The Bulldogs defeated Braham, 13-4, to win the first annual Paynesville tournament.

David Hemmesch pitched for the Bulldogs, allowing four runs on six hits, in seven innings.

Chris Soine led the Bulldogs in hitting, going 2-4 with two RBIs and three runs scored.

"The team played well, both offensively and defensively," said coach Brad Skoglund.

The Bulldogs have important home games coming up this week against Sauk Centre on Thursday, and Albany on Friday. The Albany game will be the first baseball game ever played under the lights at the high school baseball field. Game time is 8 p.m.
