On Monday, April 28, the boys golf team traveled to Albany for a conference meet. It was an okay day for golf, as it was warm but windy. Unfortunately, Albany's course was not in top condition. The greens were quite sandy and the tee boxes were soft.

The Paynesville Bulldogs finished in sixth place, with a total score of 179 points. Albany took the meet with 154, and Litchfield was a close second with 155. Josh Fenton, of Litchfield, was medalist of the meet with a 36.

Leading the Bulldogs was Nathan Olmscheid with 43. Eric Werlinger and Jeff Meyer were next with 44 and 45, and Ryan Mackedanz shot a 47. Coach Knudsvig hopes to do better in the remaining conference meets.
