Boys golf team still frustrated with scores

The Paynesville boy's golf team had two conference meets last week. The first was held on April 27 at Albany.

Albany's course was in excellent shape. Only a few spots of winter kill could be seen on the fairways. The greens, which hadn't suffered over the mild winter, were also in good condition.

The Bulldogs played well. Six of the seven team members shot rounds in the forties.

Once again, coming out on top was Albany, scoring 154.

Sauk Centre
On Friday, May 1, the Bulldogs went to Sauk Centre. Unfortunately for all the teams, many of the scores brought in reflected the rainy weather conditions.

The Bulldogs are frustrated with their scores, but are working hard to improve them. Coach Knudsvig feels the boys are getting out of the game what they put into it.

Saturday the Bulldogs traveled to Benson for a 27-team tournament. The team placed 20th.
