Ryan Mackedanz led team at last WCC meet

On May 9, the boys golf team headed to Sauk Centre for an 18-hole, 11-team invite.

Ryan Mackedanz led the Bulldogs with a score of 89. Ryan Stoneburner was close behind him, with 91. The other Paynesville golfers were Matt Brossard with 100, Nathan Glenz, 101, and James Gulbranson, 103. The boys total score was 381. The boys finished in 11th place.

The Bulldogs had the home course advantage on May 12, when the conference meet was held at the Koronis Hills Golf Course.

Albany once again came in first with a total score of 165. Litchfield was a close second with a total of 168.

Ryan Mackedanz had the low score for the Bulldogs, shooting 43. Josh Ryan finished second with 44. Ryan Wall and Ryan Stoneburner scored 45s. The Bulldogs total was 177, which put them at fourth place.

Litchfield meet
The final conference meet of the season was held at the Litchfield Golf Course on May 14.

Albany was first with a total score of 158. Two of the teams members shot rounds in the 30s. Litchfield was second and Sauk Centre third.

James Gulbranson was first for the Bulldogs with a 45. Matt Brossard second a 46; Ryan Stoneburner and Nathan Glenz both shot 47s, to put the Bulldogs total at 185.
