The Bulldogs were down by two going into the bottom of the seventh inning. Starting the Bulldogs off was Tiff Haag, who was hit by a pitch. She then advanced to second on a passed ball. Haag later scored on a single hit by Jen Roberg.
Milissa Hopfer went 3 for 5, with a two RBI triple in the third inning. Jen Lindquist was 2 for 4 with an RBI single in the fourth inning.
Julie Sixta pitched the whole game. She struck out three and gave up only four walks.

Albany
On Thursday, May 7, the Bulldogs travelled to Albany, where they lost 23-21. The game was played in a steady cold rain that caused some problems for the pitchers as well as the rest of the team.
Milissa Hopfer led the team in hitting. She was 5 for 6, with two triples, a double, and two singles. Hopfer also had five RBIs.
Louis came over from the junior varsity game to pitch in the fourth inning. This was her first varsity outing this season.

On Friday, May 8, the Bulldogs once again battled the rain. This time they defeated Long Prairie/Grey Eagle, 10-9, in 10 innings. This was a big improvement over their last meeting where the Bulldogs lost 15-1.
Julie Sixta started the game pitching for the Bulldogs. This was her third start of the week. Michele Lahr entered the game in relief in the fourth inning.
Jen Lindquist led the team offensively, going three for five, with a triple, double, and a single. She also had three RBIs.
