PHS baseball wins Sartell Tournament

The Bulldogs defeated Wadena-Deer Creek 8-7, to take first place in the Sartell tournament last Saturday.

"The team played very well together, and everyone was doing their part to help us win the game," said Mueller.

The Bulldogs will play four games next week against Melrose, Sauk Centre, Albany, and Litchfield. Paynesville is now 2-0.

Paynesville-Nashwauk
The Bulldogs started their season with a win over Nashwauk, 3-0 last Saturday at the Sartell tournament.

"I was happy with the way we played for the first game," said coach Brad Skoglund.

The Bulldogs are now 1-0 in non-conference play.
