On Tuesday, Feb. 24, the Lady Bulldogs traveled to New London-Spicer (NLS) to face the Wildcats in the first round of Sub-Section play.

The Bulldogs lost a tough 51-39 game, but overall, they were happy with the way they ended the season.

This game was a big step up from the Bulldogsí last meeting with the Wildcats. Earlier this season, the girls suffered a very frustrating 55-point loss to NLS.

However, in this game, the Lady Bulldogs stayed with the Wildcats throughout the game, and were never out scored by more than seven points in a single quarter.

Tanya Lieser knocked in 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Bulldogs while Amber Michaelis supplied 10 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.

NL-S: 15 12 15 9 - 51
Paynesville: 12 8 8 11 - 39
