On Tuesday, Jan. 28, the Bulldogs hosted a quadrangular meet. The meet was only supposed to consist of three teams, but due to weather, Paynesville invited another team to get in more matches. The teams competing were Dassel-Cokato, Buffalo, and Alexandria. Each team wrestled each other during the course of the night.

Paynesville's first match was against Buffalo. After Buffalo won the 103- pound match, Paynesville took control and won the next six matches. Buffalo then won the 145- pound match. Paynesville finished off with five straight wins.

In Paynesville's second match the Bulldogs wrestled Dassel-Cokato, one of the tougher teams in the section. The Bulldogs showed their balance and strength, though, and won the match by a score of 47-9.

The Bulldogs final match ended much like the others, as the Bulldogs won easily by a score of 55-10 over Alexandria.
