The Paynesville Bulldog boyís basketball team traveled to Long Prairie-Grey Eagle on Friday, Jan. 23, to take on the Thunder.

Paynesville had revenge in mind for this game. In the second game of the season, the Thunder had beaten the Bulldogs quite handily by 30 points. However, LPGE came out on top 51-45.

At halftime, the score was deadlocked at 18 points each. In the third quarter Paynesville showed the Long Prairie fans how they could play basketball. They bumped their lead up to 10 points.

In basketball, things can turn around very quickly and when Paynesville missed a couple of easy shots and turned the ball over, Long Prairie made a comeback by hitting three, three-point field goals.
