The Paynesville Bulldog boyís basketball team played a very good Sauk Centre team on Friday night, Feb. 20.

It was Parentsí Night and the pep band was playing which got the whole team pumped up.

At half time, the Bulldogs were up 34-31. The Paynesville players and fans wanted to put away the Mainstreeters for good but they seemed to keep fighting back.

Once again, the Bulldogs fell short at the end of the game. They very easily could have beaten the Streeters without a couple of dumb mistakes.

The Paynesville Bulldogs boyís basketball team hosted the Albany Huskies on Feb. 17.

In the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs played their heart out even down to the last second. In the closing seconds of the game, Ryan Hemingson came down and hit a three to pull the game within two points. The Bulldogs stole the in bounds pass but were unable to get the shot off in time. This was a disappointing loss for the Bulldogs.
