The PNLS Girls Hockey team has two more wins under their skates...a 7-0 win when they traveled to Shakopee Feb. 1 and another the next day when they played St. Cloud in St. Cloud. They won that game 8-1.

Paula Vogt had a pure hat trick in the Shakopee game, and over half of the seven goals scored were assists. Scoring the goals were Vogt, Tessa Plumley and Courtney Karsch. Assists went to Alana Ahlquist, Kris Pyka, who had two assists, and Vogt.

The girls had 33 shots on goal in the St. Cloud game. Vogt had six goals in that game and Olivia Webster two goals. Assists went to Crystal Huhn, Angie Routh, Amanda McCool, Alana Ahlquist, Rachel Larson, and Courtney Karsch.

Coach Brad McCool praised the girls, saying they did an excellent job. "The defense really came to the challenge," he said. Shari Vogt had 17 saves out of the 18 shots and is now at over 95 percent for saves.
