Senior co-captain, Brad Fenske, Paynesville, is off to a torrid start as the Army wrestling team has put five early-season tournaments under its belt. Fenske placed fifth at the ultra-competitive Mat-Town USA tourney on Nov. 30 at Lock Haven University.

Fenske became the fifth wrestler in Army history to reach 100 career victories. On the heels of his school record of 42 wins a year ago, the 150-pounder is off to a 19-5 start this fall, also winning the Keystone Classic and placing third at the West Point Open. Fenske boasts a team-high six pins, two coming at Mat-Town before he was finally edged 7-5 in the semifinals by Penn State’s John Lange.

He is the son of Dallas and Pat Fenske, Paynesville.
