While the Bulldogs are continuing to show improved routines, they are still battling against the injuries that are side- lining senior Sara Spanier and sophomore Krysta Larson.
The Bulldogs started the night on bars, taking an immediate seven-point lead over the Tigers, 22.9-15.4, and never looked back. Maria Wegner led the team with a 7.35 and a first place finish.
The Bulldogs then moved to the vault where they continued to lengthen their lead over Morris, outscoring them 30.75 to 29.95. Flanders earned a Gymnast of the Meet on vault for performing a half-half for the first time in a meet. Wegner led the team in scoring with an 8.45 that earned her first place.
Paynesville kept their momentum going on floor, both in their tumbling and in their scores. Kelly Fenske competed in her first varsity meet of the season on floor, where she scored a 6.5. Overall on floor the Bulldogs outscored Morris 27.8-23.2.
Paynesville dominated the beam by taking four of the top five places and outscoring Morris 28.05-22.7. Miller started the team off strong by finishing her routine strongly with a nice dismount. She finished in fifth place with a season high score of 6.15.
In the all-around competition, Wegner finished first place with a score of 32.1. She earned a Gymnast of the Meet for having a nice overall meet.
