Banquet ends record-breaking football season

The Paynesville football team concluded their season last Monday night with the annual football banquet. In one of the longest banquets ever, many awards were given out. Many thanks were given to Virg Vagle as he ended his coaching career at the end of the season.

Thirty-three lettermen and numeral awards were given out to the players. Only four Bulldog Pride Awards were given out. To receive the Bulldogs Pride, players had to participate in every practice. Chris Dombrovski, Lee Hiltner, Billy Stanger and Brett Aagesen received the Bulldog Pride award.

The whole football team would like to thank Virg Vagle for his coaching and the fans for hanging in there even when the team wasn't doing so well. Thanks a lot.
