Girls basketball: Outplayed by Albany

On Thursday, Jan. 8, the Lady Bulldogs traveled to Albany to face the state-ranked Huskies, and they came home with a 72-34 loss.

The Lady Bulldogs played good defense during the first half as they held the Huskies to only 24 points.

However, the Bulldogsí offense started off slowly. The Bulldogs scored only four points during the first quarter and eight points during the second quarter. They went into the half trailing by 12 points.

The second half was very much the opposite of the first. The girlsí offense began to pick up, but their defense declined.

The Huskies outscored the Lady Bulldogs 16-12 in the fourth quarter as the Bulldogs lost, 72-34.
