Four Paynesville athletes competed in the Fall Sports Classic tournament. Bowling from the elementary school were Josh Sturtz and Crystal Rudy. Competing from the high school were Danny Schutz and Dallas Richardson. Athletes compete according to their age and skill levels.
Results of the tournament were: Dan Schutz, second place, silver medal; Crystal Rudy and Dallas Richardson, third place, bronze medals; and Josh Sturtz, fifth place.
The Fall Sports Classic, which includes competition in bowling and roller-skating, is sponsored by the Minnesota State Council of the Knights of Columbus. They sponsor this event both through money contributions and through their volunteer workers at the events.
