The Paynesville Bulldogs finished their season with two hard losses before going into conference playoffs.

On Tuesday, Oct. 20, the Bulldogs competed with Kimball and Thursday, Oct. 23, hosted the St. Cloud Crusaders.

During the Kimball game, there were unusual things happening. The Bulldogs started out good beating Kimball in the first two matches. But as the night progressed, the team slipped into their old pattern of not using their communication and the team chemistry just didn't click in the third, fourth, and fifth matches.

The St Cloud Crusaders traveled to Paynesville to face the Bulldogs on Thursday.

The Bulldogs started out slow in the game allowing Cathedral to score 10 points before Paynesville got a side out. The girls tried to come back in the game, but ended up with a 15-2 loss.

After a tough loss in the first game, the Bulldogs gave the Crusaders a different game. The Bulldogs used good communication throughout the second and third games. The girls were going for anything they could get. After playing two tough games, the Bulldogs still lost with scores 15-2 15-9 and 17-15.
