Steve Koehn
Steve Koehn, Paynesville, was elected the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Special Team Player of the Week for his effort for Hamline against St. Olaf on Oct. 12. Koehn kicked a 32-yard field goal with two seconds remaining in the Hamline-St. Olaf game to lift the Hamline Pipers 24-22 over the Oles in Northfield. Koehn, playing his first college game, was inserted as a place-kicker and punter.

Gardner boys win karate belts
