Ten athletes from the elementary and middle school competed against athletes from the surrounding area. Local athletes included: Nathan Martin, Yvette Lounsbury, Katherine Parks, Erica Wander, Margaret Schmitz, Matt Bayer, Michael Naujokas, Dustin Rudy, Jess Bahner, and Danny Schutz.
Athletes are divisioned according to age and skill level. The following ribbons were awarded to each athlete based on their appropriate division: first place, Yvette Lounsbury; second place, Danny Schutz, Margaret Schmitz, Nathan Martin, and Katherine Parks; third place, Jesse Bahner and Erica Wander; fourth place, Michael Naujokas; fifth place, Matt Bayer; and sixth place, Dustin Rudy.
Athletes are eligible to participate in the state tournament held in Eden Prairie on Nov. 15 and 16.
