Boys cross country places 5th at Sauk Centre

The Bulldogs cross country team took fifth out of 13 teams at Sauk Centre last Tuesday, Oct. 6.

The cold rainy weather didn¹t even phase Clayton Lang, who placed 20th out of a field of approximately 100 runners. His time was 17:23.

Luc Trees came in seven spots behind Clayton with a time of 17:56. Paynesville¹s third, fourth, and fifth runners finished as a vicious pack. Eric Rausch placed 39th in 18:31, Ryan Flanders came in 42nd in 18:35, and Steve Gilk finished 44th with a time of 18:40.

Paynesville's sixth runner was Eric Korman who finished 55th in 18:57, and Travis Flanders came in 61st with a time of 19:20.
