Looman named MCCC player of the week

A two-year starter for Rochester, Dustin Looman, Paynesville, was named Minnesota Community College Conference Southern Division Defensive Player of the Week.

Looman, a defensive lineman, was in on eight tackles and two sacks in Rochester's 44-7 victory over Minne-sota West.

Rochester (6-0) is ranked fourth nationally among division three teams, and has allowed only 49 points in six games.

Looman is the son of Bruce and Nandra Looman, Paynesville.
