Six Paynesville football cheerleaders tried out for the All American team in August, and all six were chosen for the honor.

After a year's absence, football cheerleading is back on the sidelines this fall as a self-supporting activity, meaning the team needs to raise the funds to cover its costs.

Other members of the football cheerleading squad this fall for Paynesville are ninth grader Katrina Daby and ninth grader Kassi Sheridan. They are coached by Robyn Spaeth.
