The Paynesville Sportsmen's Club hosted their eighth annual northern tournament on Lake Koronis on Saturday, Aug. 7.

The tournament brought in 58 boats, that made it the largest northern tournament they have hosted.

The top 10 places all got money prizes with the top three places getting trophies. There was also a trophy for the largest fish.

The tournament was a catch and release tournament, that ran from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. After the tournament food and refreshments were served at the trap range.

The anglers brought in 87 northerns over the course of the tournament.

"Most of the boats got some fish, but some didn't," said tournament coor-dinator Allan Bouie.
