Roscoe Little League has losing week

Roscoe was defeated by Spring Hill 7-1 on Sunday night, in Spring Hill.

Drew Nathan started for Roscoe and went the first three innings. Russ Leyendecker pitched the fourth inning, and Ben Moser finished the game for Roscoe.

Roscoe was held to just three hits in the game. The hits were by Mike Leither, Leyendecker, and Nathan.

Spring Hill scored all seven of their runs in the first three innings. They scored two in the bottom of the first, and five in the bottom of the third.

Roscoe got their only run in the top of the fourth, but it was nowhere near enough for the Rangers.

Roscoe will play the first round of the playoffs on Wednesday night. The destination and opponent are still unknown.

Roscoe was defeated by Greenwald 24-1, on Wednesday night in Greenwald.

Greenwald dominated the game as they held the Rangers to just one hit.

Mike Leither started and pitched the first three innings. Jeremy Leyendecker and Chuck Mackedanz threw relief.

Leyendecker had the only Ranger hit in the game. It was a triple. He scored the only run on a wild pitch, but that was all Roscoe was able to get.

Greenwald scored three runs in the bottom of the first, one in the bottom of the second, and 10 in the bottom of the third.

The game ended with Roscoe losing 24-1.

Roscoe is now 2-8 in the league and will begin playoffs on Wednesday night.
