Farming defeated Roscoe on Tuesday night, July 13, 11-9.

Eric Kunstleben started on the mound and was relieved by Justin Mackedanz. Kunstleben gave up ten hits and 11 runs, but only two of them were earned during his six innings of work. Mackedanz shut down Farming in the seventh.

Brent Heinen led Roscoe in hitting as he was 3-4 with two doubles. Kunst-leben also was 3-4 with two doubles in the game.

Farming got on the board first with an early run, but Roscoe came back with two in the bottom of the inning.

Curt Christian doubled and Heinen drove him in with a double. Tim Lieser then singled in Heinen and that made the the score 2-1, Roscoe.

However, the lead didn't last long as Farming bounced back with four in the top of the second to make the score 5-2.

Roscoe added one in the third which made the score 5-3.

Both teams scored multiple runs in the fourth. Farming added two in the top of the fourth, but Roscoe came right back with three in the bottom of the inning to make the score 7-6, Farming.

Roscoe tied the game in the fifth, but then gave up four in the top of the seventh and could only score two. It was not enough as Farming came away with the 11-9 victory.

Paynesville 12
Browerville 2

Paynesville defeated Browerville 12-2, on Monday night, July 12, in Paynesville.

Jon Lieser started and went the distance for Paynesville. Lieser only gave up two runs on three hits in his five innings of work.

Justin Mackedanz led Paynesville in hitting. Mackedanz was 2-3 with three runs scored and two stolen bases. Jeremy Fuchs also had a good game at the plate as he was 2-3 with two runs scored.

Paynesville scored three runs in the third inning to take a 5-1 lead. Mackedanz led off with a walk and then stole second. Lieser and Heinen then both singled to drive in Mackedanz. Chad Fleischhacker followed with a single to score Lieser and Nate Schutz drove in Heinen. Jeremy Fuchs doubled to drive in Fleischhacker and Fuchs also crossed the plate in the inning to give Paynesville the big lead.

Paynesville matched their total in the fourth and had a big 10-1 lead by the time that inning ended.

Paynesville then finished Browerville off by scoring two runs in the bottom of the fifth to win by the score of 12-2.

Holdingford 4

Paynesville defeated Holdingford 5-4 on Thursday night, in Holdingford.

Nate Schutz started and pitched great, keeping Holdingford off the board for the first three innings. Schutz allowed four runs on 10 hits while striking out four.

Paynesville was led at the plate by Curt Christian and Eric Hartfiel who were both 2-3 in the game. Schutz also was 2-3 in the game for Paynesville.

Paynesville was able to get on the board first when Luke Christian got a walk. He found his way across the plate and made the score 1-0, Paynesville.

Paynesville added to their lead when they scored four in the top of the third. Shaun Fleischhacker doubled and scored when Schutz doubled. Schutz also drove in Curt Christian. Chad Fleischhacker singled to drive in Schutz. Fleischhacker then stole second, and scored when Hartfiel drove him in.

Paynesville had a 5-0 lead heading into the bottom of the fourth. Holdingford was able to add one in the inning to close the lead to four runs.

Holdingford then added two in the fifth and one in the sixth, but was not able to tie the game in the seventh, and Paynesville held on for the win.
