Ron Fuchs hits hole in 1

Ron Fuchs Ron Fuchs recorded an ace on the par-3, 134-yard #4 at Koronis Hills on Thursday, June 7, using a nine iron.

Fuchs - playing in a scramble with his brother Steve Fuchs, Todd Burlingame, Keith Hemmesch, Mike Jacobson, Bryan Mara, and Duane Olmscheid - hit his shot about six feet below the back pin placement and the ball hopped once and went in. "We all saw it bounce once, and we didn't know if it was in or over," explained Ron.

Jacobson ran to the green and found the ball in the cup.

Fuchs is proud to be the first golfer in his family to record a hole in one. Now he wants another.
