Senior Gretchen Ziemer was named All-Conference honorable mention in the West Central Conference North. "She worked real hard," said coach Murry Rafferty. "She was a good captain this year."
The team members also voted on awards. Carrie Hemmesch was chosen as the Most Valuable Player, Tricia Hemmesch for giving the Most Effort, Kelsey Moser for being the Most Improved, and Gretchen Ziemer for being the most enthusiastic.
The softball team will be holding a summer league in June. They will be playing fast-pitch games every Tuesday night at the high school.
