Boys golf team prepares for sub-sections

golf The Bulldogs started to prepare for sub-section play on Tuesday with a dual meet against New London-Spicer. The otherwise continuous rain again let up and allowed the sun to come out for a comfortable 18 holes of golf. Surprisingly, with the wet spring we've had, none of the boys' meets have been cancelled.

Even though the scores for the day's meet didn't count for anything other than practice, the Bulldogs competed very hard against a very tough NLS Wildcat team.

Ryan Mackedanz led the Bulldogs with a six-over-par 77. Ryan Wall followed with an 85, and Nathan Glenz, left, shot a 90. Josh Cole, one of the area's leading golfers, shot an impressive one-under-par 70.

Individual scoring
Ryan Mackedanz (39-38) --77
Ryan Wall (44-41) --85
Nathan Glenz (47-42) --90
Eric Hartfiel (47-42) --92
John Manthei (47-46) --93
Joey Koshiol (59-49) --108
Adam Ryan (55-54) --109
