Albany won the meet by a single stroke over St. Cloud Cathedral.
The meet was their final meet of the year. Ryan Mackedanz had the best score for the Bulldogs, shooting a 39. He was followed by Nathan Glenz with a 47. After the meet Mackedanz was awarded All-Conference honors.
Paynesville Meet
The Bulldogs finished fifth at their own WCC meet on Tues., May 11, at Koronis Hills Golf Course.
Ryan Mackedanz again led the Bulldogs with a 37. Nathan Glenz followed Mackedanz with a 45.
Mackedanz was tied with Steve Richter from St. Cloud Cathedral for the best individual finish at the meet with a 37.
St. Cloud Cathedral won the meet with an overall finish of 152, defeating the nearest team by 12 strokes. Albany was second with a 164.
Paynesville finished tied for fifth with Sauk Centre in the West Central North Conference.
