Dogs take sixth place at Cathedral

The Bulldogs girls' golf team placed sixth in its first conference meet on Tuesday, April 19, at Wapicada in St. Cloud.

Marissa Mackedanz Sophomore Marissa Mackedanz tied for ninth place individually, shooting a round of 48. Junior Amber Jensen was one stroke back at 49.

Albany won the meet with a four-golfer score of 179, followed by Cathedral (185), Sauk (194), LPGE (203), Melrose (210), and Paynesville (217).

Sophomore Marissa Mackedanz led the Dogs by shooting 48 last week.

Sophomore Cassandra Olmscheid shot 54 and ninth grader Natasha Fangmeier shot 66 to complete the Dogs' team score.

This week, the Dogs played at Sauk Centre on Tuesday. They will play at Albany on Thursday, and next week they will play at Long Prairie on Tuesday, May 3.
