The Minnesota Walleye Trail has announced that Lake Koronis will be the second qualifier of its new walleye fishing tournament series in the state of Minnesota.

With the tournament scheduled for Sunday, June 10, there should be plenty of action for the 50-team tournament. The tournament features $5,000 in prize money and trophies.

The public is invited to come to Veteran's Memorial Park at 3 p.m. to watch the weigh-in. The MWT expects that 90 percent of the walleyes will be returned to Lake Koronis after the weigh-in.

The MWT will have four tournaments in the state over the summer.
