On Saturday, Feb. 27, the ninth grade girls played in a four-team tournament in Litchfield. Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City, Eden Valley-Watkins, Litchfield, and Paynesville were the four teams. The BulldogŐs first game was against Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City.

In the past, the Falcons and the Dogs always played side by side most of the time, but not this time. The girls played an awesome game despite their fouling. The ladies were ahead 36-7 at halftime, and didnŐt seem to let up as they earned a 59-21 win.

The Bulldogs played the championship game against the Litchfield Dragons. The Dragons also played side by side with the Bulldogs in the past. The girls were tired coming into this game, but they didnŐt really show that as they jumped out to an 11-2 lead after the first quarter. During the second quarter, the girls let the Dragons cut the lead to six at halftime. The ladies were able to keep increasing the lead little by little until the end of the game. The Bulldogs came out of the game with a 30-19 win, and a first place trophy.

Jenny Hess and Stacy Lieser were named players of the All-Tournament Team as they played two very good games.
