Loss to Litch ends Bulldogs' season

The Bulldogs girls' basketball team ended their season with a 43-39 playoff loss to the Litchfield Dragons on Tuesday, Feb. 27.

Both teams started out pretty slow. Each team scoring under ten points in the first quarter, with the Dragons getting nine and the Bulldogs two.

The Dogs picked up their scoring quite a bit in the second quarter, scoring 11 points and closing the gap to three at the half.

The third quarter was a battle. The Dragons outscored the Dogs by one point, 13-12.

Both teams scored 14 points in the fourth quarter. The Bulldogs had a chance to tie the game with a three-pointer late in the game but missed. The slow start cost the Dogs, as they lost 43-39.

Steph Krupke carried the team with 21 points. Stacy Lieser added nine points. Heidi Jansen led the team with 14 rebounds.
