The state wrestling tournament will be held at the Target Center in Minneapolis from March 2-4. Single session tickets cost $5 for students and $8 for adults. A daily pass is available for $9 for students and $14 for adults. A pass for all six sessions of the tournament costs $27 for students and $42 for adults.
The Paynesville Bulldogs have already qualified as a team for the Class A tournament and will open by wrestling Canby on Thursday, March 2, at 8 p.m., which is Session 2 for the tournament. They are also guaranteed to wrestle on Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. in Session 3. Paynesville could also have individual qualifiers after the sectionals this coming weekend.
