Buses to the Bulldogs' team matches at the upcoming state wrestling tournament will be organized by Community Education.

The Bulldogs will wrestle their first match on Thursday, March 1, at 10 a.m. against Sibley East. The fan bus will leave Paynesville Area High School at 7 a.m. on Thursday and will return following the team match. It will not wait for the individual matches later in the day.

The buses will return at approximately 2:30 p.m., and students will have to return to class.

School will be in session on Thursday, but not on Friday.

High school students will need a parental note to ride the bus, and younger students will need a parental chaperone or designated parent per school policy to ride the bus. Students who do not ride the bus will need to be accompanied by a parent or designated parent.

On Friday, the bus will leave at 9 a.m. for the team's noon match. The bus should return around 4 p.m.

On Saturday, if the team is still competing, the bus will leave at 9:30 a.m. for the 12:30 p.m. match. The bus should return around 5 p.m. On Saturday, the school will be locked, so students who need to call for rides will be dropped off at Hill Top Restaurant.

The bus will cost $12 per person. At least 30 people are needed to cover the cost of the bus. If the bus is cancelled, money will be refunded.

Anyone who signs up, though, and later decides not to go will forfeit their money.

Sign up at the Community Education office in the high school or call 320-243-7570.
