The Stars once again played two road games this past week: the first against Sauk Centre on Tuesday, Jan. 18, and the second against Benson on Friday. Both games were played with a lot of spirit and determination, but in the end, there were two totally different outcomes.

The game against Sauk Centre was a very good game for the Stars. Senior defenseman Eric Hartfiel had a hat trick. His brother, sophomore goalie Adam Hartfiel made 26 saves. Sophomore Derik Dahlen had two goals and an assist.

These contributions added up to a 6-3 victory over Sauk Centre. The Stars jumped ahead 4-0 with four goals in the first period. They allowed three for Sauk Centre, but added single goals in each of the final two periods to hold on for the victory.
