High school students win food drive contest

Paynesville Area High School students collected more than 200 nonperishable items last week. The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa student council challenged PAHS to a competition to see which student body could collect the most food in a given amount of time. There is atraveling trophy that goes to the winning school. The food collected stays in the town it was collected in. The food from the PAHS food drive was collected on Monday.
